Can you believe it’s already #PROM season? I created Kamri’s #hairstyle for her prom this year, and I seriously think it’s one of the most darling styles I’ve ever done! Also, how did you like her dress???

I am IN LOVE with the dress that Kamri chose to wear to prom! I think that the color of the #promdress complimented her so well, and it’s just so elegant! I really like the combination of the feminine cut of the dress, mixed with the blue color detailing to make it feel absolutely perfect for Kamri’s style.

Kamri looked absolutely STUNNING with her hair and makeup done (makeup by Brooklyn)! 🤗 I’m so proud of the beautiful young lady that she is becoming, it makes me emotional! I’m trying to hold on to these moments as hard as I can, because she’s graduating a year early. ♥

Items Needed: Brush, spray bottle, 5-6 small (clear or black) elastics, spray wax, hair clips or barrettes.

Skill Level: Medium

Time Requirement: 8-10 minutes


STEP 1
Pull the hair back into a low, fluffy ponytail. Secure with elastic, and wrap hair around to hide the elastic.

STEP 2
Divide the ponytail into 2 sections and begin pulling small pieces from the OUTSIDE of each side of the ponytail, crossing over to the other section.

STEP 3
Go down a couple of inches with that section of infinity braid (or however far you’d like - depending on length of hair). Secure with elastic and wrap hair around the elastic.

STEP 4
Separate the ponytail into 2 sections, and begin to create 2 simple 3 strand braids. To link the 2 braids, bring a 3rd of the left section into the top of the right section braid so they are intertwined. (This is the trickiest part!)

STEP 5
Secure each individual 3 strand braid with an elastic, then secure both of the braids TOGETHER with 1 elastic, wrap hair around the elastic. Pancake the braids to give them a fluffier look.

STEP 6
Separate the hair into 2 sections again and complete another infinity braid. (How far down you go with this braid will depend on length of hair) Secure with elastic, and wrap hair around the elastic

STEP 7
Style with any hair clips or accessories to personalize and give it a little extra oomph! 😎

You are going to LOVE this new heart hairstyle that’s PERFECT for #ValentinesDay! What I love about this look is that it appears super intricate and fancy… but it’s actually SO EASY to do! What do you think??

Step 1: Pull the hair up into an elastic (start about an inch above the ear).

Step 2: Find the center of the elastic, make a hole, and flip the hair in the elastic from the bottom, towards the ceiling.

Step 3: Divide the ponytail into 3 even pieces.

Step 4: Starting with the right section, create a normal, 3 strand braid.

Step 5: Pull the OUTSIDE edges of the braid (pancake them), and secure with an elasitc.

Step 6: Repeat step 5 on the left section.

Step 7: Take the middle section of the ponytail and backcomb the base slightly (to make fluffier).

Step 8: Join the right & left braided sections to the middle section of the ponytail, and secure with an elastic.

Step 9: Really tug at the base of the ponytail to make tighter, and create the desired heart shape.

Items Needed: Elastics, comb, hairspray (if desired)

Time Requirement: 10-15 minutes

Skill level: Medium
